Beautiful hefe. Getting a lot of banana notes in the flavor, and the flavor is quite prominent. There’s a hoppiness or perhaps a dryness that is a tad unusual, but perhaps not in a PNW brew. Very good; very recommended. dirt55 (198) - Washington, USA - NOV 27, 2008
tap, very cloudy/thick bright yellow pour with no head, wonderful citrus/malt aroma, taste of citrus, wheat, banana, and a light clove overtone, zero bite/bitterness on palate, excellent beer...hope bottled is anywhere close to this! after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - APR 6, 2008
Draft at the brewpub. This would certainly be the beer of the day by a long shot after today’s Olympic Peninsula pub crawl. philbertk (1873) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 15, 2011
Cloudy bright lemony yellow. Thin white foamy head. Nice florid banana nose. Creamy medium body, soft carb. Nice banana and clove. Not astonishing but very clean and refreshing with a lovely creamy round body. Well-made hefe.

A good smelling beer; right balance. This is good! Flavor is wonderfully balanced and right on for a good German hefe. Excellent for a style I’m not big on.

Glowing soft murky yellow. Sweet fruity, yeasty and fresh tasting beer. Light and crisp, with a German yeast nose and a woody finish. Very fresh tasting, and a perfect summer hefeweizen. theisti (4126) - Kansas, USA - FEB 11, 2009
22 oz bomber courtesy of bvc. Poured into my .4 L Kulmbacher glass. Pour is hazed yellow golden with visible carbonation and a frothy 3 inch white head. Head is very lasting. Some patchy lacing lines the glass as the head eventually falls. Aroma of clove, citric wheatiness and a nice banana orange fruitiness in behind that. Taste is the wheat initially, with a nice mineral somewhat sour bite, following behind that is the clove and some dry white pepper in the finish. Clean, and refreshing. Palate is medium, unfiltered and very drinkable. Nice one, thanks Brandon. carruthm (1401) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 28, 2009
had out of bottle at a local party, bottle purchased from Bottleworks. Nice banana notes, lightly yeasty Prufrockstar (2132) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - JUN 23, 2014
Draft at BPP. Micro Monday! Gold pour with fluffy white head. Aroma of lemon zest, cloves, and just a bit of banana. Taste: lemon zest is what I notice most prominently, with muted banana and cloves behind. Lightly sweet. Finishes wheaty and slightly bitter. Palate: light body, lively carbonation, crisp. Overall: light and refreshing, a nice summer beer, and one of the better local hefe examples I’ve come across. IndianaRed (4619) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 10, 2006
Bottle Pours a cloudy murkey yellow with a thin white head. Malty german hef aroma. bananas and a littel spice. fairly mild though. Flavor is nice and fruity. Rather dominated by the banana flavors and a nice soft wheat body. Very soft carbonation. The 22 I had was filled to withing 1/4" of the cap. Sweet begginging, middle and end. Not as spicy as the style would dictate but I found it very nice and quite drinkable. Somewhat americanized German Hef I’d say.
