Aroma of malt, caramel, and honey. It pours clear yellow with a small white head. It has a caramel flavor that is balanced out with malt and smoke so it isn’t overly sweet. The aftertaste was pleasant, malty, Very good beer overall that is easy to drink. It isn’t too thick. Capa (3298) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - APR 17, 2015
Toasted malts win the day on this amber ale. Not much more to say. Red with a tan head. Medium bodied. Lots of toast. Decent. julesjis (256) - Oregon, USA - MAR 17, 2015
Poured from a bottle on an Alaska Air flight to Boise. Aroma is somewhat floral. Flavor is garden like, salty and creamy. Doesn’t have that normal harsh bitter bite of a red. Instead tastes more like a BBQ. Interesting beer! liquidhedonism (289) - Beaverton, Oregon, USA - MAR 13, 2015
From a 22 oz bottle on Horizon Air. Aroma: malty and nutty, with hints of caramel and biscuit. Taste/Palate: creamy and thin; starts slightly sweet; finishes slightly bitter. mikedR (1561) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - AUG 27, 2014
I for one enjoy this. It’s quite malt forward; not getting a lot of hops. But the malts are abundant and delicious. Quite a bit of caramel notes. Recommended.

Draft pour. Pours reddish with a faint malt aroma. Flavor is mostly sweet malt flavor. Mild hops. Drinks easy. Nothing too special or different here, but not bad. Dhammond42 (8) - - JUL 26, 2014 does not count

Bottle. Pours a dark reddish amber color with a moderate off white head on it. Nose is rather malty with a lot of bread and grains to it. Taste actumy has a bit of toasty caramel to it as well, which surprised me. Really interesting. Strykzone (7357) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - MAY 15, 2014
Bomber from Hayduke that we had over facebook chat. An opaque amber pour under a tan head of tiny bubbles. A rich malty and floral aroma. Those are tasted. Soon I begin to taste toffee as what is tasted in Russell Stover candy. This is fairly dry and has some earth in it. Some syrup. Noble hops and they are in the after taste. Also a hint of citrus. The hops give a long lasting flavor when the glass is empty. fiulijn (20498) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 2, 2014
Draught at Kokopelli, Port Angeles
Dark amber color with creamy head. It’s just about the color, because it doesn’t have much aroma, not much flavor, and low bitterness.
