Draught at Kokopelli, Port Angeles
Dark amber color with creamy head. It’s just about the color, because it doesn’t have much aroma, not much flavor, and low bitterness.

mcberko (17823) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 30, 2015
On tap at Silver City, pours a cloudy amber with a small beige head. Aroma reveals light bready notes - not much else. Flavour is bland, with toasted bready notes. Very weak and bland. Okay, but not intriguing.

Light, vaguely caramelly aroma. Dark amber hue. Very sweet, sort of a light cherry note...where they drink amber ale and it tastes just like cherry cola. Malts are toned down, sweet and alt-ish, but ultimately this is too sweet to win my favour. I’d struggle with a pint.

Draft - Light caramel and Woody notes. Clear copper with a decent white head. Caramel and light twig. Boring, but OK.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours copper with a bubbly beige head. Aroma is sweetish caramel. Med body. Flavor starts like cola. Not very bitter. Makes me think of marzen. Does finish more bitter than not.

Can from Beers of Europe. Pours clear red brown with a thin white head. Aromas of toffee and nuts, raisins. Taste is fruity, more raisins and toffee. Light sweet and spice on the finish.

Can, Brewklopedia, Leicester. Amber red with an off white foam. Toffee malts with earthy hedgerow berries. Fatty and lightly nutty with raisins. Decent.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear deep amber colour. Sweet malty caramel aroma, brown sugar, toffee, a very faint dose of earthiness as well. Flavour is quite sweet and nutty up front with a bit of herbal and spice toward the finish. A bit too sweet for my tastes.

22. Grainy, hazy opaque dark amber with bright rubied highlights. Light tan sudsy film and lace. Sweet bready nose with minimal differentiation. Light body with slight carb and not much else happening on the attack. Mid-palate opens up without too much fanfare and carries through with light caramel and brown bread happening. Bit of a disappointment, really. Clean finish. The whole thing is really not very interruptive.
