Was visiting my relatives that live in port angelus and saw brewery so I had to stop and pick up a couple beers! Great red beer with good head. This has a carmal like tint to it. Good beer Strykzone (7430) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - MAY 15, 2014
Bomber from Hayduke that we had over facebook chat. An opaque amber pour under a tan head of tiny bubbles. A rich malty and floral aroma. Those are tasted. Soon I begin to taste toffee as what is tasted in Russell Stover candy. This is fairly dry and has some earth in it. Some syrup. Noble hops and they are in the after taste. Also a hint of citrus. The hops give a long lasting flavor when the glass is empty. Pintsizejake (19) - Florida, USA - JUN 21, 2016
Can: dark whiskey color. Sweet notes throughout. Aftertaste resembles flat Dr. Pepper. That sounds gross, but it melds well with the lighter hop flavor. bitbucket (2165) - Kirkland, Washington, USA - FEB 15, 2008
Bomber. Pours clear coppery amber with a lacy off-white head. Thin aroma, just a touch of caramel, dust, earthy hops. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Sweet, malty nutty toffee taste. The finish is just lightly bitter, with the same earthy quality as the nose. It almost seems like they’re positioning this as a gateway brew, not too assertive, but with a enough flavor to draw you in.
kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 4, 2008
22 oz bottle, via 5000. Pours a mostly clear copper to light amber body with a slight yeast haze under a small fizzy off-white head. The nose is equally balanced between toasted, lightly caramel, maltiness and a soft perfumy floral hoppiness. The flavor is malt centered with a slightly sweet toasted grain base with just a light accent of lightly bitter hops on the finish. Mouthfeel is fairly light bodied with moderate soft fizzy carbonation. Pretty good among the arena of Amber Ales. jigglyjock (165) - Longmont, Colorado, USA - FEB 24, 2009
Malt dominated beer that is still extremely drinkable. Aroma smells like condensed milk with caramelized apples! Color is an amazing dark brown/red. Taste is a malty caramel with a great hope balanced background. carruthm (1401) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 29, 2009
lots of caramel and almost sickly sweet aroma. pours a bubbly light brown hue, just a covering of a head. taste is sweet as expected, but malts come through better there and the sugars are little more nuanced. CampesinoTino (800) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 27, 2012
Bomber. Dark copper colored with an inch of tan foam. Mostly bread dough, apricot and brown sugar in the aroma. The taste is heavy on the toffee and toasted caramel malt flavors as well as some orange citrus, honey and smoked grain notes. Mouthfeel is mildly creamy with heavy carbonation and a dry, malty finish. A little one-dimensional but a decent Red Ale nonetheless. andrewje41 (4021) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - JUL 27, 2014
Draft pour. Pours reddish with a faint malt aroma. Flavor is mostly sweet malt flavor. Mild hops. Drinks easy. Nothing too special or different here, but not bad.
