On tap at the source, pours a hazy amber color with a light tan head. The smell is citrus, grain. The taste is mild caramel, grain ending a but sweet along with light bitterness. Light plus in body with above average carbonation. arkurzynski (2456) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 15, 2014
Hazy orange pour. Nose of citrus and caramel malt. Flavor is murky herbal citrus bitterness with toasted/caramel malt. Clingering citrus and caramel. Very English-like in character. Kind of forgettable. crossovert (13730) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 12, 2013
A very mild english style sort of ipa. Malts get in the way a bit too much for me. nuplastikk (6414) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 28, 2012
On tap at Silver Creek. Thick, not even close to filtered orange-tan. Pretty decent IPA, a little homebrewish. A little bit of earthy APA tones. Sort of and unfiltered English version I guess. Nice and drinkable, but maybe a little too yeasty for the style. Pretty well balanced, lots of earthy tones. Easy drinker. unique example. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - APR 1, 2011
On tap at Silver Creek. Poured crystal-clear lighter orange with a splotchy off-white head. The aroma was sweet and juicy with citrus leading.. some pine backed it up.. just the right dose of sweet malty backing.. well-done! The flavor was nearly as juicy as the nose, with caramel and fruity notes surrounded by grapefruit and pine on the moderately bitter edges.. not complex, but certainly enjoyable. Medium-bodied and very well balanced on the palate.. I could drink a lot of this!

On tap at the brewery. Pours a classic orangey/brown. Aroma is subtly hoppy, pine, fruit, some resin. Taste is sweet tangerine, pine, caramel, some stickiness. Finishes lightly with some sweetness and some alcohol. The barkeep mentioned last year’s version was hoppier - I guess I would’ve liked to try that one as this seemed more like an solid, slightly hoppy, APA. esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 12, 2008
On tap at Silver Creek Brewpub. Dark copper with a thin off white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, dough, earthy hops and a touch of sourness. Taste of caramel, citrus, sugar and mild pine. Decently balanced with a mild bitter finish. phishpond417 (2088) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 20, 2008
Sampled on draught at Silver Creek: pours a clear copper with a medium sized white head. Plenty of floral aroma, and strong hops. Taste is light and bubbly, citrusy all around, with pleasent grapefruit flavors. Finishes rather light for an IPA, but very nice anyway. couchand (182) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - MAR 17, 2008
Amber to red. Almost clear. Some creamy white head.
Fruity hop aroma, spicy.
Bitter, alcoholic, and spicy flavor, but clears quickly, inviting another sip. prosqtor (408) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 24, 2007
Good. From the tap at the brewpub. English in style, with a nearly opaque copper color and thick creamy head. Nice hop crispness, but smooth and sessionable.
