Bottle. Pours clear and flat amber with spare fizzy off-white diminishing head, spare lacing. Aroma is average malt (bread, grain, straw, cereal), light hops (herbs, grass), average yeast (sweat, horse blanket) with notes of alcohol, pineapple, butter and vegetable. Short duration, light sweetness, moderate bitterness and acidity; rather husky flavor. Light bodied, oily texture, soft carbonation and metallic finish.
Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly/fully diminishing. Body is medium amber. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (caramel, grain), lightly hoppy (apricot), with light notes of metal, bile, celery, gum. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation.

Grumbler purchase from Breeze-IN, Juneau AK.
This was poured into a pilsener.
The appearance was a nice hazy dark bronze to caramel brown color. A one finger white foamy head lasted for a good thirty seconds before gently dieing. The lacing formed a glossed over semi - thick coating.
The smell had a rich dark nutty caramel maltiness running in and out of a light toffee. Crisp noble hops play softly upon my nose.
The taste was mainly sweet malty caramel covered nuts. There’s a lingering nutty to caramel aftertaste leading into a watery caramel finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a good sessionability about it. The carbonation was good for the style and for me. There’s a nice rich smooth and somewhat sticky caramel maltiness rolling over my tongue.
Overall, for the style this is definitely up to par in fact I think I’d rather have this before a SA Boston Lager. Thank you Silver Gulch for sending another one down here.
