3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a slightly hazy golden color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.
not positive this pils was of the same name, but seems like the same brew. On tap: clear yellow, smells of straw and sweet malt. flavor is crisp with a hint of grass, decent pils. kidmartinek (5007) - austin, Texas, USA - NOV 14, 2013
Clear pure golden with a lacey white head. Biscuity aroma. Light fruity taste with heavy mineral and some sweetness on the finish. Not too pilsnery, more like a sweeter pale. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 19, 2013
Tap at Silver Moon. Pours a clear, light golden. Medium to higher head formation. Webby lacing. Nose is sweet white grape juice, cantaloupe. Taste is sticky, vegetal. Palate is dry, papery. Tannic, abrasive, soapy, cidery, metallic, and vegetal. Sort of a homerun here for brewing flaws. Not sure if I should be upset or impressed. maekchu (4054) - Hirakata, JAPAN - AUG 14, 2013
Draught at the brewery taproom in Bend. Smooth, light grassy sweet nose. Clear, brilliant straw color. Tart initial / sweet and grassy in mid / tropical fruit and lingering hop traces in final. Thin-medium body. Has more body than a typical pils. Very good hopping. Nice grass and floral notes. Good stuff. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 3, 2013
Bottle:   Straw, a bit dirty and hazy, moderate frothy and foamy white head, decent lacing.   Lots of straw and hay on the nose, a bit barnish.   Similar tongue, lots of straw and hay, a touch dry.   As it warms it
becomes a little mealy.   Not as crisp as others, but still not bad.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Soft sweet hay and straw linger.   Middle of the road, clean, but not as crisp as other examples of Bohemian Pils.

On tap at the brewery. Nice and crisp with some spice hop aroma. Beer has great lacing. Not too bad for a lager! Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 20, 2011
A light amber pilsner. The aroma is of green and peppery noble hops. I really like it in the mouth, plenty of honeyed malts and long-lasting hop bitterness which makes it eminently drinkable. It’s a real snappy pilsner. hayduke (5634) - Eureka, California, USA - JUN 8, 2011
On draft at the brewpub in Bend, Oregon. Pours a light golden color with small white head and light lacing. Nose of of light caramel malts and grassy hops. Light body and enough carbonation to give the mouthfeel some liveliness. Flavor is kind of classic for the style showing some bitterness that carries over into the finish. GABF 2010. Pours a light golden good carb and nice white head. Aroma has nice fresh bready pils malts, biscuit, toast, herbal and grassy hops- mostly fresh. Flavor is also grassy, herbal hops on toast, slight grainy grittiness from the husky crackery malts, light pils, bread, mineral and sharp bitterness in the end. Bitter finish hurts it a bit.
