Hazy light amber color with medium sized head. The aroma is delicate and nice; it blends, malt, fudge, vanilla, and a flowery hint, chamomile. Smooth mouthfeel; lean caramel flavor with light residual sweetness; the flavor is not exceptional; it has a correct bitterness level, some timid hop resins, less fruits, overall the hops are not shining here.
Draft - Hoppy nose, ruddy orange with thick head. Very bitter with a medicinal quality that is just unrefined. Considering how good Hop Fury is from the same brewer a real disappointment. bhensonb (15489) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 12, 2009

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a slightly hazy amber color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, toasted malt and caramel. The finish is moderately bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUN 25, 2012
(22oz bottle) Pours a lightly hazy orange body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of orange, pineapple, grapefruit, caramel, and grass. Flavor of orange, grapefruit, caramel, and grass with a dry, bitter finish. slowrunner77 (12455) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 3, 2014
as a beer, this isn’t offensive, but as a west coast orgonian ipa, this beer is just plain ridiculous. almost hopless, save for the bitter aftertaste. how this is getting a B on beeradvocate is beyond me. must be 13 homers that have rated it. 40 ibus for an IPA? why bother? english pale ales are higher! rosenbergh (11653) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 3, 2015
Draught at the Silver Moon, Bend, OR.DuffMan (10549) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 11, 2010
Clear golden colour.
Hops and mild bitterness in the aroma.
Bitterness, hops and sweet malt in the flavour. Thinnish.
Bottle, shared with Parksy. Orange amber, generous off-white head, some early sticky lace. Aroma is orange peel and light pine. Sweet malt, nice orangey hop character, again light pine, nice bitter finish. I’m not sure why this is rated low for the style. I really thought it was a solid IPA.
