a slightly hop forward aroma that finishes with the usual caramel malts. average or just above in every aspect. enjoyable, but not good enough to stand out." 50belair (3684) - Florida, USA - JUN 3, 2014
Draft at the Riverhouse. Clear medium amber pour with an off white head. Mild malty aromas. Big light colored malt notes with a strong grapefruit hop presence. Average body and mouthfeel. A bit on the bitter side for an amber. cwald (91) - Oregon, USA - SEP 20, 2013
Silver Moon. Draft. Bend Oregon. Decent beer. A little cloudy. Slightly on the sweet side. Good for an Amber. Good brewery. maekchu (4064) - Hirakata, JAPAN - AUG 15, 2013
Draught at the brewery taproom in Bend. Listed as 5.6% and 45 IBU. Nice citrus aroma. Light copper color, good lace. Restrained grapefruit initial / a graduated bitterness and some decent maltiness. Medium body. Good, but more like an IPA than an amber ale. BlackEyePA (574) - USA - JUL 21, 2012
pretty good, even thjough not my forte style it is good. The overall verdict is its not amazing or shitty, its a nice balance of some things here and there. Color is brown gold, smell is weak, not much, aroma ehh, it was decent

Bottle:   Amber, slight haze, light carbonation, sand colored head, frothy, nice lacing.   Slight Zymurgeist2 (2385) - Redwood City, California, USA - NOV 10, 2011
fruity nose, peach or apricot fuzz.   Also getting some sort of spice in there.   I have had this bottle
for a while, so its "aged" a bit.   Its almost like a nutmeg/cinnamon caramel, but really funky and musty.
On the tongue it somewhat reminds me of a watered down unsweetened stale cold Spiced Apple cider.   Not
real malty, unfortunately.   Seems fairly clean, but also fairly simple.   Moderate body and mouthfeel,
perhaps a little on the thin side.   Could use more malt backing thats for sure.   Seems pretty simple
overall.   Needs more malt would be my recommendation.   Hops are very light, which is fine.   Pretty
On tap at the brewery. Very nice malt aroma and good, clear color with full off-white head. The malt and hops balance nicely here. BrewDad (5667) - Olympia, Washington, USA - MAR 22, 2011

Amber in color, slight haze with a thin head. Hops where floral in both aroma and flavor. Malt was roasty and balanced well with the hops this was a nice brew.
22oz bottle, purchased at Harry & David’s Medford. Pours a deep amber color with a cola tinge; effervescent; mixed-bubbled, light-tan head with solid retention and lacing; decent pour. There’s a slight celery / stalky vegetal note in the aroma that kind of throws things off here; minimal hop aroma; there’s a mild dishwater / lemony component present as well; very lackluster nose. Medium-light body; lively, almost fizzy carbonation (like it’s flying out of this beer); that celery / vegetal note seems to play out more obviously as acetaldehyde in the mouth: an immediate green apple note first and foremost; some moderate mineral and potentially lime-like bitterness (probably influenced by the acetaldehyde); balanced overall, and there really isn’t a whole lot of "beer" flavor here, sadly; that green apple / acetaldehyde component really does serve to dominate pretty much everything here; still, quite drinkable, and I’m guessing most folks would drink this without thinking "hey, brewing flaws". A tea-like note at the core shows eventually. This is almost all acetaldehyde, honestly, but not especially offensive in spite of this. Medium finish: mineral bitterness, the lingering green apple character; modestly dry and decently balanced. bhensonb (15838) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 12, 2009
Pours hazy copper with a four finger beige head. Aroma of apricot over mild caramel. Medium body; foamy carbonation. Flavor is sort of apricot, light stone fruit. Not very bitter. Not very sweet. More refreshing than most ambers.
