"a pretty cool beer, made with dried cranberries and golden raisins. they lend a deep fruitiness to the funky barnyard character and make for a really nice complex aroma. the flavor isn’t quite as nice-more fruity and less complex-but is nice as well. good finish, unique beer. definitely worth a shot."

Draft @ Silver Peak. Pours a hazy, effervescent, pulpy dull copper color; off-white head with solid, fine-bubbled lacing. A decent amount of citrus acidity, overripe yellow fruits, hints of a tartness that could go anywhere between an infection and funk; messy, loads of sweetness; bananas, sugar, a mess of a Belgian-influenced nose. Solid amounts of sweet fruitiness, light citrus acidity, with a hugely dense, sticky Belgian core: sugars, banana esters, very overripe, some golden raisins; why, oh, why, a 10% saison? Messy in its attempt at generosity. Lengthy sweet finish of bananas, crystallized sugar, raisins, the kitchen sink.
