On tap at Wonder Street. Medium amber color. Thin off white head. Maltier than the other ambers tried here. Earthy and citrus. Could definitely use more hop balance. brokensail (16436) - Dublin, California, USA - MAY 18, 2015
On tap @ Silver Peak. Dark amber colored beer with off-white foam. A lot of toast, bread, and caramel. Some soda water, too. Actually a touch of chocolate and cola. Okay. Slight nuttiness. The flavor is big on caramel and chocolate. Kind of nutty. A bit of cola on the back end as well. Typical garbage brewpub amber ale.

Dark amber body, thin off-white head, spotty lacing. Caramel malts. Not much else. A big amber ale. Medium to full bodied, mild carbonation, not much in the way of bitterness, semi-sweet throughout slowrunner77 (11917) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 21, 2014
"probably their most popular beer A) because it’s a malt bomb, so macro beer drinkers that are afraid of hops will love it, and B) it’s 8 freakin percent, so frat boys looking to get drunk quicker like it. That being said, even though I love my hops, this is a pretty stinkin good beer. Unbalanced, yes, but the flavor, mouthfeel, and aroma or all carmely, malty good! the best of their regular rotation." Comes out of the tap a clear mahogany with a pale tan head. Malty aroma has hints of cloves and hops. Strong malty flavor has notes of cloves and horehound and a subtle hoppy undertone plus something of an alcohol nip. Thin but smooth body has light fizz.

Aroma: citrus, roasted malts
Taste: similar citrus, roasted malts as in the aroma, bready
A clean well made beer, a simple style, but this was crafted well.
Light amber with a fizzy white head. Very faint malty aroma. Toffee and alcohol taste with a roasty finish. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - APR 19, 2011
[Tap] Pours a bright copper color with a thin white head. Some caramel in the nose, with hints of alcohol and mild citrus. The taste is of caramel malts, sweet fruits and a Belgian-like sweetness to it. A bit cloying overall. One dimensional flavor profile lacks much of a hop balance. Not one of their best beers, in my opinion. alexsdad06 (10279) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 3, 2010
Draft @ Silver Peak. Pours clear amber in color with a small off white head that leaves sporadic lacing. The aroma is mild caramel, pale malts with a moderate hops. The flavor opened with mild sweetness. Caramel dipped bread, mild to moderate hop bitterness, somewhat dry. Decent. Sledutah (7491) - Utah, USA - MAR 30, 2010
