COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dam Buster is a true English Bitter, however, the term “bitter” tends to discourage unfamiliar consumers, so we refer to it by it’s broader category title of English Pale Ale. It is clear, has a deep copper colour, is lightly carbonated, with a slight head. It is beautifully balanced with slight hop bitterness and caramel sweetness with hints of fresh orange It is served in a standard pub glass.

Bonne bière goûteuse d'une microbrasserie de Niagara-on-the-lake. Amertume persistante. Notes de caramel. Belle couleur orangée. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very malty and classic English style flavor. Bready malts, slight creaminess, a bit sweet. Smooth and medium bodied. Not bad.

Slightly sweet aroma of aged fruit. Taste is toffee, raisins and licorice - the 18 months it has spent aging might have something to do with that - as well as a bit of fruity hops that were undoubtedly more prominent when this was bottled. Very Sherry-like and quite complex for a five per cent English Bitter. Delicious.

jercraigs (10921) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 6, 2017
2017-03-04. Hazy amber body, modest beige head. Aroma has fruity light yeast character. Touches of toasted malt and caramel. Flavour has English malt character, notes of toasted malt and treacle, light fruit, moderate bitterness throughout. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. 6-7/3/6-7/3/13 On tap at Silversmith.

Bottle from the brewery. Clear dark copper with a small quick fading white head. Nose is to toffee and bread with some floral hops. Light sweet caramel with a medium- bitterness and a touch of nuts. Medium creamy mouth with soft carbonation. Nice enough bitter.

On tap at brewpub. Caramel and yeasty aroma. Caramel is strong in the taste too. Bready with a sweet finish.

Draft at Wvrst. The aroma is subtle, sweet. The taste is good but it has quite a lot of bubbles for an English ale. I love the finish with the burnt coffee.

Drank on tap (12 oz) at the brewpub on June 25, 2015. Golden copper, medium head. Hoppy caramel aroma, some nutty notes. A more hoppy fruit taste, dry wood notes, nutty bitter finish. Well it did not suck!
