3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at the brewery. Pale golden straw pour. Nose is bubble gum and light fruit. A touch of light spice. The yeast is lovely in here - soft and a little bit peppery with a touch of clove. Excellent integration of the malt and yeast profile.
This brew was one of the sleeper hits at the Toronto Session 2015, spanking some of the other more hipster-aware breweries at the festival in terms of pure drinkability & yummy tummy possibilities. Not close to Side Launch but better than most local attempts. Recommended. pootzboy (1779) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 28, 2013
On tap at the brewery - poured a hazed straw-gold color with a weak cap for a heffe. moderate carbonation. Aroma is lightly heffeweiss with some fruit but no clove phenolic. Flavour has more of the fruity clove tones, moderately dry clean finish. Refreshing, clean, more body than most weizens. The version I tasted was called "Breakfast Wheat". Decent, but needs some tweaking to get near Denisons. Ontbeertaster (2362) - Ontario, CANADA - MAR 23, 2013
Growler from brewery, the pour was quite foamy and there was a nice bright yellow, aroma was nice and bananiy and it was a bit thick mouth feel. But it was nice offering BierMonger (22) - Ontario, CANADA - OCT 29, 2012
Had a sample at the brewery.
Poured a cloudy yellow-orange color, a bit darker than the avg wheat beer. Aroma and flavors of banana and clove, and some toasty wheat. Carbonation was average for the style.

On tap at the Only (as Bavarian Breakfast Wheat). Pours a hazy golden orange with smallish whiteish head. Aroma is banana, slightly sourish green apple and spice. Flavour also has banana and green apple with almost a cheesey sourness and some spice. Average body. Good, not great. Sammy (12491) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 7, 2012
A story in wheat and bannana. Cloudy orange with lacelines. Above average carbonation takes away from a potential creamy mouthfeel. Significant bannana beer in taste, aroma. cyrenaica (1159) - Milton, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 11, 2012

This beer poured a hazed orange-tinged gold colour with a creamy off-white head. The aroma was banana, spices, wheat, and citrus. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with mild carbonation - basically the usual hefeweizen mouthfeel. The flavour was sweet wheat malt, citrus, and earthiness. A good Canadian hefeweizen.
