UPDATED: FEB 28, 2013 A watery pale yellow beer with not much aroma but a lively carbonation, although no head. Don’t leave a strong memory but it is a regular beer.

33cl bb06/2018, Cactus LUX transit. - Odd to come across this brewery first in Gent, then in LUX supermarkets. So far Simon beers have turned out to add quite a few levels, turned out at least better than expected to Bofferdinger standards. - Kurz: adds some spelt character and punch to a fresh allgrain lager. Fresh radiant grassy hops to contour the fresh, edgy grains. Has a certain all-malt, cereal gravity which I appreciate. No Intl Pale lager by any means and much underrated here.

Weinig koolzuur. De smaak is graan achtig, beetje waterig.

Bottle @ home. Pale colour, white foam disappears quickly. Malty, bit grassy, some grainy notes. Taste is thin and watery, easy drinkable. Meh

Piwko w kolorze słomkowym, mętnawe z niezłą pianą . W aromacie delikatny miód. W smaku lekka słodycz, miodowa i bardzo słaba goryczka.

Couleur jaune trouble, bonne mousse. Nez malté toasté, grains, céréales. Gout malté particulier (surement l’épeautre) doux, toasté, céréales. Bon corps leger mais onctueux en bouche. Fin avec des notes douces voir caramel.
