341ml bottle from a trade with zenwolf. pours clear deep orange with a minmal white head, nice carbonation and decent lacing. aroma of caramalt and american hops. the flavour is the same. straight forward drinkable IPA. not the way i brew em but nothing really "wrong". A nice IPA though with a fairly malty taste that negates a bit of the bitterness that one associates with IPA. I find it well balanced but can also understand why some reviewers were disappointed not to have a more hops dominated flavour. brewnew (2) - USA - SEP 16, 2010 does not count
Bottle smuggled into ontario Enjoyed by many at the (Ontario) brewery. We were all suprised by the balance & flavour of this fantastic beer. Just what the Dr. ordered. A little too much abv, but overall congratulations on this one. thanks neuromatt (1225) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 9, 2010
341 mL bottle from Dépanneur Simon Anthony, served in a plastic cup. Pours clear amber with a medium frothy off-white head. The head has good retention and leaves great lace. The nose is rather simple, with flowers, pine, roasted grain and a hint of citrus. The flavour begins moderately bitter and slightly sweet, but becomes strongly bitter before the finish The finish is long and hoppy. On the palate, it is medium in body with a milky texture and average carbonation. Overall, this is a decent IPA, but not one to write home about. It is quite well balanced and surprisingly roasty. The aroma is a bit subdued. Closer in spirit to the British than the American IPA. 2010-09-04 Tap57 (19) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 7, 2010

Bottle at Max’s. Pours amber with white head. Nose and taste of caramel malts, hops and white pepper. A little too malty. radagast83 (8301) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - AUG 27, 2010
341ml bottle? Poured a clear copper color with a medium sized head - dissipates to thin, but lasting white head. Aroma is grassy, notes of hops, slightly sweet and mild malts. Flavor was hoppy, with a well balanced malt. Straightforward brew. MXD (304) - Gatineau/St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 19, 2010
Pours golden-to-copper, form a small, frothy head. Good lacing, though. Intense c-hops aroma, with really few caramel in the way. Taste is a bit more herbal than expected, though it’s still dominated by citrus hops. Quite thick. Wouldn’t call it a must amongst IPA, but it’s certainly a success. Great balance between malt and hops. sseb69 (1937) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 16, 2010
