Nice enought sweeter IPA. Pours clear orange with a foamy head that dissipates to a light sheen and pretty good lacing. Nose is citrusy with some pine and some sweet in the back. Mouth is similar. Initial lemon/citrus hit and then some grass, and then a nice malt backing. Finish is reasonably mild bitterness. Body is very light, not very complex with medium carbonation. Not a world-beater, but an IPA I’d enjoy again without complaint.

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2012 Pours amber with a good off white head. Smells of American hops and sweet malt. Missing that big hop aroma. Taste is cascade hops with a solid malt backing. Bitterness is perfect for me, cascades are dead obvious (if the name didn’t prepare you). I was surprised by the malt backing. I prefer maltier IPAs, and this one somehow manages to bring a solid hop flavor with a nice rounded malty background. This is a great introduction to hoppier beers, but is lacking in some areas to satisfy full-fledged IPA drinkers.

UPDATED: OCT 3, 2014 Bottle 341 ml. Pours pale amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is of citrus, light caramel, grapefruits... quite fruity. Taste is very similar with moderate bitterness. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Moderately dry finish. Not stellar, but tasty and drinkable.

Pours darker honey amber mostly clear with a tan head. The aroma is light malty hop combo with some sweet notes, citrus for sure. The body is very bubbly which gives bitter hop notes and some light sweet malts that ends with a fairly pleasant hop flavor, especially for Canada. Finally, another one of the better IPAs that Canada has been trying to put out.

Honey coloured with a foamy head. Familiar aroma of grass and citrus. Harsh hop bite with a caramel malt back end. Decent beer, but doesnt stand out in a crowd.

Color gold orange. Cascade hop citrus aroma, bread. Good foam when pourred then becomes thin but persistant. Taste: hops, hops and hops, citrus and a touch of toasted caramel. Light to medium bodied. Long and bitter finish. Refreshing. Great beer. One of my favorite IPA.
