On tap at one of the locations in Vegas. Unsure where I was, but the brewer was there pouring taps. The beer pours to a pitch black body with a tan head. This was on high-nitro pour. The aroma was a pretty typical dry stout but the flavor was quite roasted. To me, it came off as a peat smoked malt, but the brewer simply said it was caused by some of the charred malt. Some coffee malt. The palate was velvety and silky. DruncanVeasey (8226) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 1, 2010
Tap at The Grand Canal Shoppes, The Venetian, Las Vegas.’ I’m all for English breweries installing these kind of man-crèche facilities in shopping centres nationwide back home. Pitch with thick tan collar and curtains of lace. Chocolate ice cream and mocha aroma. Gentle roasted character with the impression of cocoa-dusted charcoal. Misses the chunkiness of a true stout; it’s thin and mellow, but very pleasant and I can’t complain- I’m not shopping. georgebrassin (176) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 26, 2010
On tap @ Flamingo. Dark black with a large beige creamy head. Aroma is coffee, malt, nuts. Taste is coffee and nuts. Full body. This is very similar to Guinness.

On tap at Pour 24 in NY NY. Poured a dark black color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of chocolate, caramel, and lighter coffee. Tastes of chocolate, vanilla, caramel and lighter coffee. Thinner body. Kinz (3786) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - APR 10, 2010
Draft at Sin City in Vegas. Aroma was chocolate and coffee. Flavor was quite a bit of chocolate with a slightly sweetened espresso finish. A bit of sweetness lingered on the finish, which in this case was enjoyable. Rather liked this brew, although it might have been a touch under-attenuated. zach8270 (4022) - Henrietta, New York, USA - FEB 16, 2010
(nitro draft @ Sin City Brewing Company - Las Vegas, NV) Dark black with a rising tan head. Very high quality nitro stout look to it. Aroma is a lot of chocolate, cocoa, and roasted barley. Flavor is a nice and smooth roasted malt and barley with light cocoa and a very nice creamy backbone. Much less ashy than Guinness and definitely has more flavor. jtw (1163) - farmington, Michigan, USA - JAN 22, 2010
another Guinness clone. This has more roasted barley and alcohol heat, and kess creaminess, but despite the differences it’s a nitro stout. Enjoyable and better than the competition in Vegas, but just decent.
