Boreft Beer Festival 2012. Cloudy amber with a small white head. Fruity and cranberry aroma with acetone and a faint vinegar note. Dry, tart and funky flavour with cranberries and a touch of popcorn. One could hope it’s too young, but I’m not entirely sure it will improve.

Tap @ Borefts 2012. Pinkish color, cloudy. Cranberries and rhubarb in both aroma and flavor. Moderately sour but dry and fruity. Good!

Countbeer (6599) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - OCT 4, 2012
Draught @BBF’12: Small white lacing on top of a hazy amber orange colored beer. Smell karnemelk (Dutch sour milk/buttermilk), yoghurt, sour, wild yeast, cramberry, black berry, goosberry, berries. Light bodied at first... But more sour than the Goosberry variant. Taste malts, sour, sour yeast, lactic sour, wild yeast, dry sour notes, karnemelk (Dutch sour milk/buttermilk), yoghurt, sour, berries, cranberry, blackberry, hint of other sour fruits, wild yeast. Low carbo, watery mouthfeel, good medium bodied but a bit on the thin side and a light watery texture.

Hazy orange pink, white head. Very very sour beer. Bit too much if you ask me. Because I know they’re there, I am able to detect the cranberries.

On tap at Borefts 2012, Bodegraven. Pours light hazy, red-brown with a light, creamy head. Mellow tart berry nose, hints of bitter cranberries. Light sweet flavor, strong sourness, light vinegar, bread, subtle berry character, salt. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Crisp, biting sour finish, moderate fruity sugars, acidic burn. Nice.

On tap @Borefts fest 2012. Aroma is light but pleasant. Taste is amazing, again with that unusual (sweet cake?) note, but even more sour. Wonderful! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap @ Borefts 2012. Pour’s a hazy pinkish red with no head. The nose is mellow funky red fruits, jam donut. The taste is expressive vinous red grape, cranberry. Tart sweetness, vinegar. Mild yeasty funk. Light body, very easy to drink. Great.
