Draft at Borefts. Once again, the full name of this beer does not fit on Ratebeer. But at least I got the contract-portion correct. Cloudy dark reddish maroon, pale pink head. Aroma of sour and dusty lemons and cranberry. Taste is sour, tangy cranberry and citrus.

Borefts Beer Festival IV. Day 1. Hazy dark pink beer. Light airy palate. Sour Worcester sauce, vinegar and lemon acid. Some cranberry buried under the sourness. Dry sour finish. This is where me and Lambics part company.

On tap at Borefts 2012, Bodegraven. Pours light hazy, red-brown with a light, creamy head. Mellow tart berry nose, hints of bitter cranberries. Light sweet flavor, strong sourness, light vinegar, bread, subtle berry character, salt. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Crisp, biting sour finish, moderate fruity sugars, acidic burn. Nice.

Draft at Torst. Pours light peach. Nose and taste of tart cranberry, funk, yeast and tart berry. Earthy malt. Medium body. Moderate tartness.

brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 1, 2012
Pours a cloudy amber color with an off-white head. The nose definitely has some cranberry to it and a nice tartness. A bit of sweet malt and oak, mild vanilla and vinegar as well. The flavor is strangely salty. A bit of vanilla, lots of cranberry, some oak, mild tannins, and a hint of funk. Kind of interesting.
