Pours a very cloudy dark golden orange color with apricot colored edges. No head or lacing.
Musty, funky aroma with dry oak, damp earth, lactic funk, acidic acid and tart dark fruit. The barrel gives off a nice wood presence that’s countered by the lactic funky and dark berries.
Surprising full bodied with a tart, puckering sourness that lingers over the dry oak, lactic funk, acidic acid and vinous fruit into a dry finish. Tart cranberry really stands out, adding to the sourness. Toasted oak and musty funk flavor are also prominent with some lactic cheesiness. The cranberry flavor is tart and sweet complimenting the barrel and funky bugs. The tart, dry finish is very refreshing. PriorL (3068) - Gent, BELGIUM - JUN 7, 2013

NOSE: cranberry very prominent, rather sour.

Pours a reddish colorist lay opaque. The aroma is straight up cranberry. Nice and tart with a cranberry zing on the palate. Only a little bit sour. Goes well with the cheese plate at Torst.

Draft at Torst. Pours a pretty plum color with nice tart nose cranberries. Tastes of just the right amount of cranberry, so while it hits u doesn’t become a spritzer. U also get some citrus, leather, earth, resin, and woodiness. Refreshing indeed.

Draft at Torst with Linh, max, and Tim. Pours a deep, hazy amber red body with light white lacing. Aroma is nice sour fruit, light funk and tart cranberries. Mouthfeel is light but puckering, light acidity with notes of sour funk, tart cranberries, lemon and light earthy wheat flavors. theisti (4175) - Kansas, USA - MAR 15, 2013
8 oz draft at Tørst, poured in a White wine glass. The pour is a hazed copper brown amber, with a smallish tan head. The aroma is tartness from the Cranberry right away, with earthy leathery funk underneath. Lemon citrus is present as well. The taste features the tart cranberry initially, then moves more towards the funkiness of the leather and earth from the nose. As with the nose, the lemon citrus is present in the back, and lingers with the long finish. The palate is medium bodied, soft natural carbonation, and the dry lasting finish. Nice one.
