Can. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt and fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, fruit, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

joergen (29790) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 23, 2011

oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - MAR 29, 2010
Canned (from KCM Kivihaka, Vaasa). Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grains, starch, some mild strange wooden notes as well as bready malts and rotten vegetables. Flavour is grains, rotten vegetables, some bready malts, earth and quite grassy.

Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 23, 2011
Can 5o cl. Courtesy of oh6gdx. Pours a clear golden with a rough and lacing white head. There’s actually a little nice aroma hop in the nose. Medium body, carbonation is a little low, skunky unclean and sweet grain flavours. Some cardboard. Really flawed. Rather crude bitterness. 230511

TBone (18670) - Pori, FINLAND - MAR 24, 2010
Pint can (BB 03/2011)
Deep golden color, small white head, some lace. Grassy, harsh, a bit ryeish hoppy aroma with sweet malty and rubbery hints. Flavor is similar. Light to average palate has harsh, grassy hoppyness. Also some sweet malty notes. Otherwise quite watery overall. Unbalanced bulk lager with a fancy name.

FatPhil (17511) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 11, 2010
500ml can
Pours a rich gold, with a slightly scummy head. Scary - this actually smells like beer - it’s a dry peppery, slightly undergrowthy, noble hop bitterness. As expected, it’s a bit fizzy and watery, but hey, it’s a lager and that’s what it was designed to be. Not just a lager, this is a proper pilsener style. Even to the tangy hoppy retronasals. Taste a bit disappointing - there’s the full malt there and the gentle bite of slightly metallic hops, but it’s all just so Finnish - it can’t lose that Koff macro fingerprint. However, if it teaches Finns to look for a little more flavour in their beer, then that’s a good thing.

Rune (14059) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 20, 2013
568ml can from Kilpis, provided by Gaute. Bright, yellow-gold body. Loose white head, some of it remaining. Fragile lacing. Minimal aroma of pale malt with hints of hay. Mild taste of grass and sourish malts. Foamy in the mouth. Thin bodied and a bit diluted. Possible to drink with the pizza (Tromsø, 14.06.2013).

bierkoning (13893) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUN 3, 2010
Can from Tbone, thanks! Golden color. Floral, slightly perfumed aroma. Floral, soft hopbitter flavor with some melon notes. Thinnish. Not unpleasant.

Pinball (12642) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 23, 2011
