Biggish white head. Deep yellow body. Grain and straw aroma. Dryish grainy corn taste with some sweetness and watery notes. Very faintly buttery. Watery, soft mouthfeel. Dryish papery aftertaste with grassy metallic notes. Drinkable, but not good. (0.5l can labelled Carlsberg Sweden SAXON 4.1%, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.) Can as Saxon. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light nice malty and light hoppy aroma.- Light bitter finish. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate. Actually a nice gluten-free beer. (they nomally sucks!) saxo (18299) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 18, 2008
Can. Medium head with medium duration. Color is pale golden. Aroma and taste are malt, hops and citrus. FrankJohansen (3622) - Sabro, DENMARK - NOV 18, 2008
Can (Saxon). Clear yellow colour with a medium mostly lasting white head. Moderate malty aroma and taste with notes of grapefruit and apple. Watery palate. Gusgus (237) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - AUG 28, 2008
Can as Saxon 4.1. Pours very pale with thin, creamy head. Dry and dusty aroma, with a somewhat sour and spicy wheat note, reminiscent of something belgian. Some sweetish esters and some DMS. Very dry and astringent flavor with some sweet maltiness and metallic dryness in the finish, like if they where using artificial sweeteners. Weird. Both good and bad at the same time.

UPDATED: APR 29, 2009 Can 0,5l. Pale golden colored. Aroma of paper. Flat unvaried flavor of malt. Uninteresting. Also had this one labeled Saxon - can 0,5l - bought at Systembolaget in Sweden 03.2009. Rune (12738) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUN 22, 2008
Can shared at a summer rating party in Tromsø. Clear, light amber. Snow-white head. Little more than smell of hard water. Some sweet hoppy notes in flavour and a hint of bitter sweetness in the finish. Light bodied (14.06.2008). screwball (1099) - Motala, SWEDEN - JUN 19, 2008
Can. Pale golden body. Has a white small head. Aroma and flavor is just boring. Only has some citrus and hops. A hint of metal bitternes. Thin and watery. liinis (1770) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 7, 2008
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2008 clear sparkling. no character. tasteless watery piss with too much CO2. ... carbonated pee! OleR (4804) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 8, 2008
Can as ’Saxon’. Fully diminishing big-bubbled white head. Clear pilsener-golden color. Not very aromatic; sweetish grains and unfresh hops to the nose. Taste is sugary malts without any bittering hops to balance. Watery texture. Anorectic and carbonatied body. Dry end. Forgettable.
