Bottle 0.33l from local market, Espoo. Originally rated 06092011. Colour is almost black with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Berries, tartness, huckleberries and some roasted malts. Very artificial.

Bottle. Black color, creamy tan head. Sweet, fruity aroma. Fairly light flavor with a hint of roasted malt and fruit. Slightly sour finish, reminiscent of a fruit lambic. Medium-light body, medium carbonation. Interesting: not your typical stout.

330 ml bottle @ Beer Hunters. Pours opaque black with minimal lacing tan head. Aroma of strong lingonberry, blueberry and very mild roastyness. Taste of lingonberry and malt. Light to medium bodied, watery mouthfeel and high carbonation. Lingonberry cider-like finish with a hint of coffee. Not hopeless but too much like a cider for my taste.

TEJA (3133) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 10, 2012
Bottle at omhper, thanks. Medium brown color and fluffy head. Huge cherrie aroma. No body and way to sweet.

Puolukka = Huckleberry. Not surprisingly aroma has lots of huckleberry and bit of malt. Clear black coffee colour. Thin beige head medium long. Taste has crisp huckleberry sourness. Malting in the background. Light body and texture, crisp carbonation, sour finish. Taste and palate is lively from sweet to sour to crisp. I gound huckleberry to be an interesting choice because it’s lively flavor. Points mostly from that and aroma. This would be interesting with traditional finnish black sausage.

Miksu (5053) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - MAY 22, 2012
0.33 l bottle. Very dark reddish brown color. Aromas and flavors of lingonberry and dark bread crust. Dryish with light body. Fairly bland and a bit watery taste. Not a bad beer when something easy and refreshing is needed.

HopfenWeisse (1547) - - APR 22, 2012
Deep dark brown colour with small brownish head. Aroma and flavour is lingonberry, watery. Better than expected.

adamnase (810) - Kronoby, FINLAND - JAN 26, 2012
330cl bottle from k-market kronoby, Very dark color and nice semi-big beige head. Taste of lingonberry as it should, not to much and not too little, good amount of lingonberry essence. metallic finish, not hoppy. and ok beer, better than i expected

Rune (13186) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 22, 2012
330ml bottle, by courtesy of Finn. Dense, tan-coloured head with some retention, fragile lacing to the glass. Near-black body. Sweet mix of lingonberries and cloudberries to the nose. Sugar sweet taste of berries added by earthy malts. Rather diluted palate. Possible to drink, however, little that reminds me of a stout (Tromsø, 21.01.2012).

Kanskje mer alkohol ville hjulpet? KI=2
