Washing down some Thai food. Body and consistency of a mid lager. Aromas of corn, slight salt, metallic. Lights flavors of sweet corn, slight salt, pennies.

Clear straw, tall but evanescent head. Yeasty, rusty nose. Initial floral impression turned out to be poorly rinsed detergent in the glass. Light body, little flavor, low heat and carbonation, short aftertaste. Sweet, little bitter or acidity. Bready, hint of hop, yeasty, not much else. Ok in necessity, like it was at this Indian restaurant where I had it. A stronger and more flavorful beer would have been even better. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle in Breda,NL. Really bad, worse than Chang. Please pass on this beer unless you are used to bad Amri beer like bud or miller, then it might be tolerable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cl, local Laotian (+BL2). Smells of cardboard apple juice tetrapack. Honeypops cereals, mid-bodied, sweetish and slick, with a surprising hit of grassy hops: brewed in commission in the midst of AU-Hallertau, 100% barley malt, "nach dem Reinheitsgebot" for UK Premier League (Chelsea). Natural pale malts, some cardboard, then very present hayish bitterness leading to a dryish, hop-bitter aftertaste. Better than expected, basically a low-cost German Helles - going by the info that this is the EU version without rice.

Bottled. At Mon Jin Lau, Michigan. Pours clear yellow, but a darker color than your average pale lager. Aroma is soy sauce, what? Flavor. Is similar. Kind of corn too. Not good.

330ml can, thanks to Shivan Dragon. Golden amber pour with a fluffy, large, white head but after an initial burst of carbonation it feel surprisingly flat. The aroma is very lagery, with cream and buttery sweetness. The taste has much of the same bland, buttery, toffee character and a cloying lack of bitterness. It doesnt matter if its brewed in Bangkok or Burton, this is dull, buttery swill lager and nothing more.
