From bottle at Molenhof in Oostvleteren. Mostly clear pale amber with a short head.
Dull red apple cara malt nose caught up with wet hop / green leafiness. There are subtle touches of spice / earth to the hop aroma but the bottle happens to have dulled, bottled in September 2013 and served in July 2014. Medium body with relatively low carbonation. Sugar is a tad goopy and syrupy, and it’s almost balanced well by oily hop acids and carbonic acid, but not quite.
