Koelschtrinker (21828) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - JUL 9, 2011
Blumig hopfiger Antrunk, aromatisch. Dazu wenig herb, ausgeglichen. 9/11/11/11/11/11

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, malt, flowers and hops.

Benzai (16758) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 14, 2011
Clear golden / orange color, small white head. Smells like a pilsener with some sweetness and honey. After a while a little hops come through in the flavor but not enough. Decent carbo, bit low body.

Bottle courtesy Sdr. Borup. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle at Hasselt Beer Festival, Hasselt, Limburg, Belgium 12.11.11 in company of Loz, Jackie, Simon and David. Pours a clearer gold than the Cascade. Warmth in the mouth and a light hoppy burn which surprised me on the tongue. This beer struggles a little when consumed alongside the more strident hoppier offerings of the Cascade and Nelson Sauvin but it does ok. Its good but the characteristics are much harder to define, there is a light citric fruitiness but the yeast and malts are much more up front in this beer. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

75cl bottle.

7/09/2011 75cl bottle @ home - bottled: 26/4/11 (2011-436)

Cloudy orange to amber beer, big frothy head with big bubbles, pretty adhesive, unstable. Aroma: sweet malts, caramel, dried fruits. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: little sweet, bready, caramel, citrus fruit, grapefruit, soft bitter, candi sugar, alcohol. Aftertaste: citrus touches, bit sweet, dry ending. Also a very good beer, but the Cascade is my favorite.

Good yellowish, stable head with some lace over hazed golden-orange beer. Very earthy hops’ nose, cream crackers, very dry malts. Again earthy notes; the rest being EU-hops on dry malts and some toasted malts; dry nuts. Quite carbonated with a long titillating throatfeel, medium bodied, bit slick. Rather better than expected, being not a big fan of E.K.G., and even less when they’re actually from Bachten-de-Kuppe... Thanks to Stef!

yep, i know its to old alright !
thnx to belgiuminabox for the bottle
pours clear yellow, big white foam
VERY alive carbo rising up , that just keeps comming ’out of nowhere’ . beautifull !
no smell at all on this one . i had another one of the series earlier this week and that was still quite intence. here, there’s just nothing at all .

hmn.. REALY drinkable. somewhat fruity, a little bitter. but again, so drinkable. it has a hoppy taste, but aint that intence.
but still, this is a nice beer, cause of its drinkability . taste isn’t intence, maybe, but pleasent. yup, still good to me !

Countbeer (6599) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - AUG 15, 2011
Bottle: Thanks to IluvatarMilan for sharing:
Small white head on top of a hazy yellow light orange colored beer.
Smell is a mix of pilsner with iron.
Taste like a better version of pils: a pils with hops, honey and spices and hints of sweet fruits and caramel.
Aftertaste of hops, malts and medium bitter.
Low carbo, medium body, soft mouthfeel and a light creamy texture.
