Keg at The Pony Bar UES, NYC. Pours clear gold with a small, white foam head. Lovely aroma with good urine notes, orange and other citrus, background pine. Medium to big sweet flavor with some spicy pine notes, a bit more pee, some gritty earth and grass, orange and grapefruit. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish with continued pee, sturdy citrus fruits, resinous pine, palate-kicking earth, mild pale malts and bread. Great stuff. Well balanced. Exceptionally drinkable.

Growler from Super Buy-Rite in Hamilton, NJ. Medium gold color. Large fluffy white head. Tropical fruit and floral hop nose. Tart, bittersweet malt flavor upfront. Unripe pineapple, grapefruit and pine needles. Slightly dank hops in midtaste. Dry, peppery bitter hops in finish. 8.6% ABV is well hidden. My first Singlecut brew is very tasty. Well done.

Can from an awesome friend. Cleanish golden pour, white head that recedes quite a bit. Nose is sweet, tropical bitter. Tastes like juice, bitter. A touch hot, but really tastey.

[Cask at Cask Days 2016] Pours a deep impenetrable yellow-gold with an average size long-lasting bubbly white head. Nice hoppy fruity aroma and flavour, quite pleasant, with plenty of tropical fruit and citrus. Alcohol well hidden. Average bodied. Enjoyable DIPA.

Double IPA in bottle. ABV given as 8.2 not 8.6. A good example, on the sweet side, smooth, nicely balanced but nothing distinctive to take it to the most memorable category.

Handypaul (536) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - NOV 9, 2016
Bottle. Pours hazy dark orange-brown with very fine suspended sediment and a one-finger, white, creamy, mostly lasting, head that leaves fair lacing. Big aroma of pine and sweet citrus. Hop forward with medium bitterness that grows through the finish, medium body, sticky mouthfeel, average carbo initially that diminishes quickly to soft, flavors of grapefruit and caramel. Pretty good but balance is weighted to the hoppy/bitter side.
