Big haziness in this copper-amber beer with an off-white head, medium in size and showing moderately-low retention.
Peach-nectarine, lots of stone fruit in general with pineapple striking up a bit more intensity as it in turns fades to more soft, green, vegetal hop character and light honey-like maltiness on the finish. Very clean and no booze. Not intensely aromatic or a juice bomb but very solid and not-overdone or piney/resinous.
A bit more bitter than expected, in the flavor. Very strong carbonation helping highlight this. Spicy Galaxy-like character coating the palate with lots of cracker and wheat-like biscuit character providing for a bit of an abrupt, lightly bland finish. Some pine and yeast on the very end, with warming, contributing a bit of a bready/twangy character. Adding more sediment, the beer remains still a bit too bitter and twangy but does soften the texture considerably. Overall, too much resin/twang/bitterness and yeast though it’s certainly not bad or unpleasant. Very thick and somewhat sweetish. Smells really nice. Surprised at the disparity between aroma/flavor.
Can from Georgetown Deli and Beer. Pours yellow and cloudy with a half inch of white foam. Leaves a shitload of lacing in the glass. Lots of citrus and pine on the nose. Huge pine cone on the tongue. Lots of bitterness on the finish. Definitely their version of a west coast IPA. Not bad. pineypower (3352) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - APR 23, 2017
Pours out a hazy orange copper color with a small white head. Aroma is of juicy citrus, light tropical fruit, dank hops, spice and light resin with a touch of bready malt. Lime peel. Taste is definitely hoppy, fruity citrus upfront with some light tropical notes, dank resin, some earth, floral fruits, light wet bread, and a Decently full mouthfeel to let you know this is no session IPA. Definitely the best I tried there. brigg (726) - New York, USA - MAR 23, 2017
(Bottle) Cloudy pale orange body with big, white head. Aroma is sweet with overripe fruit; orange, grapefruit, some lemongrass. Medium to full bodied; oily texture. Medium to heavy sweet, which is somewhat hidden behind the strong bitterness and moderate alcohol. Flavor is fruity, slightly floral, nutty, dusty; lemon, orange, pineapple.
