On tap, poured into pint glass..burgundy, brown color..and that’s the best thing about it..aroma sucks..taste is worse..like eating a weed..if I want weed, I’d smoke it, not drink it..awful.

On draught at Fette Sau. Clear amber color with a thin off-white head that dissipates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of grainy malt and hops. Medium body with flavors of bready malt, piney hops and slight fruit. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Nice caramel aroma with a slightly bitter finish. A tasty amber, above average but not spectacular. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

@ Singlecut. Pours copper with an off-white ring. Aroma is in your face piney hops. Quite the surprise there. Taste follows through and is not totally overpowering. Interesting how restrained the taste was considering the aroma. Palate was slightly thin, though they also had the beer on nitro. Didn’t try the nitro, but I’m going to assume I’d like the mouthfeel better there. Finish is bitter and does not linger long. I’m a fan of this one.

Draft: mahogany color with a thin white head, grainy aroma and taste, something is a little off with this beer for me. Mediocre.

Decided to get a second flight at Rattle grab a couple more NY rates. Pours clear brown with light head. Nose of malt and toast. Tastes of florals, white pepper, malt, plastic and burnt cheese (kinda like what hits the pan when making grilled cheese). Touch too thin and odd aftertaste.

Drought. Brown with a reddish tint, beige foamy small head, cereal like aroma, semi-sweet hoppy taste, low carbonation, average finish. Tasted a bit weak and flat to me.

On tap at the brewery. Beautiful clear amber pour. That’s about the only good thing. Aroma is roasted peanut skins and burnt peanut oil. There’s a nice hop character hiding way in the back, but it tastes like something very bad happened to this beer. I can’t imagine this is what they intended.
