500 ml bottle from Urban Barley in New York City. Deep copper color. Rocky tan head. Earthy, toasted malt nose. Caramel, bread and herbal hops. Interesting meld of nutty, toasted malt and herbal, piney hops. Tasty, and a bit of a departure for Singlecut.

OK nice enough looking with dull amber color and a fair head, some fragrance but it has an un-familiar bitter note, maybe orange rind that throws of the balance.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom L's place. Thanks Alon. Deep amber color. Piney hops, resinous, citric, slightly stale, malt, caramel, toast, sweet, bitter finish, medium-bodied.

22oz bottle. Poured a deep amber ... near brown with an off white head. Malty, some pine and I noted down just all around thin and nothing special.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2017 Bottle from Cork in Hoboken, NJ. Aroma is earthy, mossy, forest-y. Taste is earthy with Pacific Northwest woodsy vibes. Still an Amber Ale tho so not that interesting.

Pours a half finger high, beige, bubbly head. It’s clear with a dark amber cola look. Lots of thick frothy lace. Spruce and grass notes on top a caramel sugar base with some berry hints like blueberry skin and teaberry. More hoppy than malty. Medium body with a creamy carbonation and some resin feel. Taste is not hitting quite as nice as nose, but very good for style! Spruce, resin, grass, some fruity notes, but more resin on the back end overcomes the fruity note. Definitely some malt base, but accurate to style. One of the better red ipas I’ve had in a long time and amongst the top in style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
