Initial flavor is moderate sweet, light light acidic and light bitter, finish flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. From 33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a crispy head. Yeasty, slight malty and vaguely spiced aroma. Spiced raisin flavour. Slight wineous. Sweet to dry finish.

The aroma is sweet with notes of yeast and corriander - typical for a triple. The color is yellow and it has a fine off-white head. The flavor is sweet malty - too sweet for me - with notes of yeast and corriander. Not a good flavor on my tastebuds.

Bottled. Clear deep golden. Estery banana aroma. Sweet and fruity. Near full bodied with pleasant deep malt character, yet with clean mouthfeel. Lightly salty finish with a lot of artificial banana.

Papsoe (25059) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 14, 2007
(Bottle 33 cl) Slightly hazy, deep golden with a white head. Fresh and very fruity nose with lots of banana and yeast. Full-bodied. lots of sweet malt and fruit, and a whiff of yeast and diacetyl before a dry finish. Quite lovely actually. 080707

fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 8, 2006
Golden color; nice thin perlage; thick head, big. The classic aroma for a Tripel, the taste is in the beginning not so special, but revealing later some malt (still dry mouthfeel) and a good hopping. In the final, the bitterness is long, bearing some Belgian hop aromas as well.
