Unclear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark berry, vintage malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. 
75 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a small light tan head. Mild chocolate and slight roasted malty base flavour. Hoppy and light spiced base flavour with a light bitterness coming through. [2003 bottleling - sampled December 2004] A deep red beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is quite sweet with notes of prunes, raisins, and burnt caramel. The flavor is sweet, very roasted, with notes of caramel, prunes, chocolate as well as hints of yeast. Bottle from Bier Koning. Hazy brown beer. Small pale tan head. Crispish palate. Slightly sweet malt with a very mild tones of marmite. A little generic fruit. Pretty well joined up tasty little malt beer.

Rich red, thin but lively beige head. Sweet black tea aroma. Decent carbonation in the mouth. Initial taste a bit thin, but a big sweet malty wave follows. Nutty finish. Very subtle in its strength.

Bottle. Slightly acidic, irony aroma. Very dark brown muddy colour. Big, stable, light brown head. Flavour is roasted and also slightly acidic. Sweetish with a hint of alcohol. Malty aftertaste and a very late coffee aftertaste. High carbonation.
