Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fruity, light to moderate hoppy, citrus - orange, moderate yesty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

[ As Sint Servattumus Het Bossche Tripel ]. Light unclear with large sizes body particles a medium orange color with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, spicy, moderate yeasty, yeast sharp, marzipan, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, and a peppery finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

33 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours golden orange, no head and with a lot of yeast floaties. Mild metallic and yeasty aroma, vague malty note. Sweet malty flavoured with a light yeasty note. Sweet an phenolic yeasty into the finish. More sweet than dry and not classicly spiced for a good triple.
A dark amber beer with a fine white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, yeast, and alcohol. The flavor is very sweet malty with notes of yeast, fruit, and alcohol, that dries out the tongue, before a sweetness comes back and lingers. Bottled. Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is alcohol, wheat, fruits, yeast and some licorace. Flavour is fruity hops, quite "woody", sweet caramelly and sugary. Wellbalanced and nice.

Bottle from Bier Koning. Cloudy gold beer, no real head. Light crisp palate. Pleasant lemon fruit zest marred by a ghastly soapiness. Dry finish. Could not finish it. Original rating 2.3

On tap at Arends Nest, Amsterdam. Hazy amber beer, small white head. Light dry palate. Sweet malt with some spice, maybe a trace of licorice but it’s pretty subtle. Dry finish with more spice and minerals. A bit dry.

Bottle at Reading BF 06. Copper with thin white head. Oooh this is a bit different. Some blackcurranty fruit. Nice hop aroma. Quite lively. Good carbonation. Bit of white choc and pineapple too.
