0.33 l bottle @ Chocolate Museum, Cologne. Appearance is like a pale lager with a big head. Taste is maltier than that, crisp and bitter ending. Very refreshing. Unfortunaly I didn’t have chance to try this from tap.

Grumpelmies (290) - North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - APR 12, 2017
Bottle. Clear golden with a small foamy head. Aroma of floral hops and citrus fruits. Taste is grainy, slightly grassy with a nice touch of lemons. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium carbonation. Light, crisp and very refreshing. Not as thin and watery as some other Kölsch. Quite nice and seriously sessionable.

0.3 l on tap at ’Crocodile’. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Very faint, grassy, a bit fruity and minimally floral aroma of straw and some citrus. Slightly bitter, grassy-fruity and a bit floral taste of straw, some citrus and a touch of grains, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately grassy-dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

250ml bottle at home in Blaendulais, thanks to Sarah, as ’Sion Kölsch’, 4.8%, BB June 2017. Totally clear golden yellow, sparkling, foamy white head. Aroma is crackers, breadsticks, light glue. Body is frothy, rounded, soft carbonation. Taste is smooth malts, grains, spicy resinous hops, crisp finish. Nice level of carbonation - not too fizzy like many similar beers. Clean. Better than expected.

0,5 l bottle. Clear golden in the glass, small one finger white head. Low sourish grainy on the nose. Taste has low malt, little bit fruityness, low bitterness. More carbonation than expected. Boring beer of a boring style.
