Van de tap in Sion Brauhaus in Köln. Geserveerd in de Kölsch stange. Lichtgele kleur, leuke kraag. Hoppig aroma. Smaakt bitterzoet. Wel ok maar niks bijzonders.
Mooi helder goudgeel bier, fijne witte parelende schuimkraag. 0.33 l bottle @ Chocolate Museum, Cologne. Appearance is like a pale lager with a big head. Taste is maltier than that, crisp and bitter ending. Very refreshing. Unfortunaly I didn’t have chance to try this from tap. Cristobal37 (1123) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 24, 2017

Bottle. Clear golden with a small foamy head. Aroma of floral hops and citrus fruits. Taste is grainy, slightly grassy with a nice touch of lemons. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Medium carbonation. Light, crisp and very refreshing. Not as thin and watery as some other Kölsch. Quite nice and seriously sessionable. efeesse (541) - Praha, CZECH REPUBLIC - APR 5, 2017

0.3 l on tap at ’Crocodile’. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Very faint, grassy, a bit fruity and minimally floral aroma of straw and some citrus. Slightly bitter, grassy-fruity and a bit floral taste of straw, some citrus and a touch of grains, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately grassy-dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay! The_Osprey (7881) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 25, 2016
250ml bottle at home in Blaendulais, thanks to Sarah, as ’Sion Kölsch’, 4.8%, BB June 2017. Totally clear golden yellow, sparkling, foamy white head. Aroma is crackers, breadsticks, light glue. Body is frothy, rounded, soft carbonation. Taste is smooth malts, grains, spicy resinous hops, crisp finish. Nice level of carbonation - not too fizzy like many similar beers. Clean. Better than expected.
