UPDATED: SEP 21, 2017 Piwo o jasnożółtej barwie, piana obfita, pozostawia lacing. W aromacie wyczuwalne słody. W smaku zbożowe, słodowe. Niska goryczka.

Disclaimer: I was brought up on Altbier, so Kölsch was always out of scope by definition. I tried my very best by sampling a fair number of Kölsch, but I cannot get it. Among the Kölsch I tried, Sion appears to me to be among the better.

dunklermessias (365) - GERMANY - AUG 22, 2017
On tap KVB. Comes with a clear golden color and just a small, white head. Moderate nose of grass and hay. Some citric notes and floral hops. Taste is moderate sweet with grassy flavors. Short bitter dry finish.

kraddel (9198) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - AUG 3, 2017
Pours clear golden blonde, medium sized, stable white head. Smell is very absent. A very mild maltyness, if you really search for it. Taste is mostly malty, but medium aromatic thnx to rather intense ( for the style) amounts of white bread, biscuit, and even some dough. A really, really fine and subtile hop character than only provides the bitterness to counter the malts, and make a great drinkable beer all together. nice .

Beer with light color, light body, higher carbonized the expected, some foam in the top, some bitterness & &fruitiness

Mooi helder goudgeel bier, fijne witte parelende schuimkraag.

thellgren (1147) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 9, 2017
0.33 l bottle @ Chocolate Museum, Cologne. Appearance is like a pale lager with a big head. Taste is maltier than that, crisp and bitter ending. Very refreshing. Unfortunaly I didn’t have chance to try this from tap.

Cristobal37 (1267) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 24, 2017
Bottle from Koln kiosk. Simple kolsch, clean, some bitterness. Average. Drunk in public in front of the Kolner Dom.
