Bottle. Golden brown with a large white foam. Aromas are biscuit with resinous pine and leafy, herbal notes. Grapefruit with mellow oranges and spices. Flavours are sweet biscuit with tropical fruit and woody, floral pine. Resinous green notes with a spicy finish. Citrus rind bitterness. Pretty good but not as good as expected.

Corps sirupeux armé d’une résine sucrée, vraiment intéressant comme texture. On peut percevoir le mais et son sucre simple dans l’éventail des céréales et le mariage avec le miel et l’aspect fruité est réussi mais pas renversant.

Bottle Beer Gonzo - Wonderful IPA and exquisitely balanced with little alcohol coming through. Lovely citrus aromas & one of the few beers brewed with honey I have really enjoyed. Well done

Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Hazy, pale amber. Thin, filmy, sticky, white head. Sweet, fusty (but in a good way), pink grapefruit, juicy, and some kind of minty herbiness going off. Very intriguing. Taste is that brûléed grapefruit, tastiness, that these DIPA’s lean toward. I’m all for it. Possibly the only beer with honey (other than Bracia), that I’ve really enjoyed.

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail

BBE 31st December 2015 - Pours clear golden orange with a thick white head. Aroma of floral hops, grass, citrus, crisp caramely malts and hints of sweet juicy fruits. Taste is malty, bitter and floral hoppy with hints of sweet juicy fruits and herbal notes. Finish is malty, hoppy and herbal hoppy with some bitterness and crisp fruity notes. Okay DIPA, but nothing special.

33 cl bottle.
Pours clear golden color with a small head. Aroma of fruits and sweet caramel malts, some hops and faint honey hints. Flavor has orange, some mango notes, mild honey and caramel malts, resinous hops also. No corn notes here really, maybe a bit on the aftertaste. Alcohol doesn’t come through, balanced, quite nice brew actually.

UPDATED: APR 12, 2015 Bottles from Trembling Madness, York and Rehills, Newcastle. Hazy amber coloured with a very rich warming orange marmalade and tropical fruit flavour, earthy and peach notes followed by more warmth, pepper, pine and honey on the extremely full-bodied finish. Delicious!

Aroma: vanilla, citrus lychee, syrup. Appearance: hazy pale gold, small white head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: sweets, notes of alcohol, grass, floral notes, light bitters. Overall: amazing IIPA, aroma and palate are both incredibly complex. Bottle at Euston Tap, London.

On tap at Cheeky Monk. Pour is slightly hazy honey in appearance with a big frothy white head and great lacing. Big grapefruit, orange peel, lemon zest, slightly dank, biscuity, earthy, and honey in the aroma. Taste is sweet fruits, oranges, light mango, slightly spicy hoppy, grassy, and floral with a big bitter finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Nice IPA and pretty cool to try.
