Bottle during RBWG. Pours a dark brown with medium tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong roast coffee, dark chocolate, wood, vanilla. Medium body, roast, brownie, dark chocolate, hides alcohol well, very nice.

Sampled during RBWG Tampa 2015. Deep brown pour with a small head. Outsized coffee aroma. Charred coffee beans. Ashy roast. Flavor has some balancing sweet chocolate. Brown sugar. Peppery ash. Espresso. Full body, pretty oily. Accomplished stuff.

November 14, 2015. Bottle at home, best before may 31, 2015.Received in a trade with Leighton, thanks!

Black with a small dense brown head. Aroma is lots of espresso, sweet bourbon, caramel, vanilla, licorice, some wood and dark chocolate. Taste is sweet and soft bitter espresso forward. Finish is roasted coffee, mocha, sweet dark berries, hints of dark sugars and dried fruits, dark chocloate, and light earthiness. Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, creamy mouthfeel.

Very good espresso forward imperial stout with some nice bourbon notes in the background.

Bottle. Black pour with a ring of tan head. Coffee, bourbon, vanilla, oak and dark malt aromas. Really dark malts, dry finish, coffee, roasted plausibly a sweet touch.
