COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an awesome collaboration with Mikkeller and Hill Farmstead. It will mess with your mind as an IPA designed to mimic Limoncello. A slightly sour mash, combined with Lactose for sweetness, tonnes of lemon Zest and hopped to death with Sorachi Ace and Citra. Bottle, cask and keg.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is lemony citrus with a dose of light roast caramel. Med body or nearly. Flavor is much like the aroma, but a smooth mouthfeel happens. Good stuff, but my brain keeps popping up burnt rubber. Bad brain. Tasty citrus IPA.

Bottle from Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours lemon golden with a modest white head and a citrus and pale malt aroma. There is a strong lemon and milky malt flavor with a zesty bitter finish. Strange but pretty drinkable.

On tap in Hanging Bat, Edinburgh (also had in bottle form numerous times). Pours pale orange with a frothy white head. Aromas are lemons, a little floral hops. Taste is bitter lemon, a tad fruit sweetness. The lemon juice is at the forefront, very tart. Medium body, sharp lemon finish. The alcohol is completely anonymous too. This is a unique brew, and consistently great.

Bottle pours yellow with big head. Aroma is big lemons and floral hops. Taste is sour lemons up front with a nice light tart and bitter dry finish.

On tap at Churchkey. Pours a somewhat cloudy orange color with a medium white head. A big sweet fruity nose, funky horse-blanket. The flavor is fruity fresh citrus hops, a bit of oranges, sour funky base, wheat. Very nice. Interesting brew, it works.

Draft at Churchkey, staff recommendation. Cloudy yellow color, fluffy white head. Aroma of freshly cut wet grass and lemony hops. Taste is like a dry hopped bitter limoncello. Interesting.

If you’ve ever had limoncello in Italy, especially Capri, you would know that it is very tart, slightly sour, and boozy. This beer mimics that very well. Zesty aroma from the lemon yellow beer. Lively carbonation. Very bitter from the citric acids, almost sour. Dry finish with grapefruit notes. Not your typical IPA.

Pours a ultra clear golden with a medium white head that leaves really nice lacing. Nose is of citrus oil, resin and oranges. Taste is nicely tart and offers meyer lemons, piny hops and orange juice. Not too bitter, more aromatic than bitter. More lemon juice, nice! Body is light to medium, carbonation moderate. Overall this was a really fine drink, not sure if I got the same bottle as everyone else or maybe it is the circumstances (magnificient cabin in the Vermont wood)?
