12oz bottle poured into a Hill Farmstead pint glass.
A~ dark copper orange with a slight head and no lacing.
S~ straight lemon grass! slight pils malt characteristics and a little bit of caramel.
T~ whoa! lemon bomb! i’m surprised there wasn’t actual lemon grass used in this cause thats exactly what it tastes like. must just be the lemon zest/juice playing with the hops. other than that really nice tart presence and super well balanced for the high gravity.
M~ extremely smooth, puckering and refreshing! seriously like no other!
O~ super solid! i could drink this all summer, all day long and get completely wrecked! isn’t that always the plan? haha i love brews that incorporate a lot of lemon, kind of reminds me of the Widmer Brothers Lemongrass Wheat. definitely worth a shot, but not for everybody for sure. i hope this makes it to the states in bottles! Rating #1932 - 2015.09.25 - #CraftTakesSeattle Day 2, Beer 31 - Draught at Brouwers Cafe . Pours a darker amber, with a bubbly tan head. Aroma is doughy, pastry malt, and a bold punch of fresh squeezed lemon juice in the mix. Taste is boldly hopped, pastry dough malt meets the fruit bomb, lots of lemony notes throughout. Bottle. Moderate grain for the malt, herbs for the hops, light dough for the yeast, with big notes of lemon with fresh cut rind, dried apricot, and candy sugar. Head is small to average, frothy, white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is murky medium amber. Flavor starts slightly sweet and moderately to heavily acidic and sour, then finishes moderately to heavily acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, oily with a soft to lively carbonation and a tart and dry finish. Wow, I wasn’t expecting this. What a combination of a crisp DIPA with the perfect amount of lemon thrown in. rondphoto (4512) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - JUN 5, 2016
bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Aroma of malt and fresh citrus. Cloudy dark amber color, smooth 1" ivory head, dots and splashes of lace. Taste is slightly sour malt that adds a hint of bittering before turning the whole thing over to sweet citrus. Not like a shandy, something different going on her, but, it still isn’t a satisfying brew. Much too sweet at the end, in fact, it loses track of the whole IPA business about halfway through. I will not buy this again.

Pours a dark golden rusty pour with an ephemeral white head. Nose is strong citrus with heavy sweeter lemon....with lighter citrusy hops . Taste is through and through bitter lemon, and ends on tart and spurn notes. Finishes on the same tasting notes , with a very long tart lemony ending. A very pleasant palate pleaser !
