Keg Half Pint at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden, London in Dec 2015 - Very Dark Brown / Black in colour. Small beige head. Very Malty; roasty and grainy malts, dark chocolate, caramel, coffee, liquorice notes. Fruity; dark fruits, raisins. Spicy. Hoppy; piney hops. Good malt/fruit/hop balance. Sweet-bitter roast chocolate malty and fruity spicy throughout. Very drinkable. Nice Impy Porter! (2015-12-12)

(keg) black-brown in colour with no head. aroma of yeast, brown sugar and sweatsocks, with a hint of herbal hops and some rotten apricots. flavour is mostly soy sauce and roasted malts, with a light blackberry tartness, some notes of caramel and a herbal-hoppy finish. medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

Casl at the craft brew co holburn. Aroma is dark black forest fruits, choc and some salt. Opaque black with a lasting loose dark tan head. Flavour is smooth roast choc and dried fruits some booze bit pretty balanced. . palate is medium low carbonation with slightly slick on the tongue. Really good.
