A 330ml bottle with a best before date of 4th January 2018. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass. It poured black in colour with a less than one finger brown head that dissipated quickly and left only sparse to no lacing. Aromas of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and brown sugar. Tastes roasty malt and milk coffee with only hints of chocolate, vanilla and oak. Medium to light bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, this was ok, but given the name, even if its just the coffee beans aged in bourbon barrels, I was expecting some bourbon flavours, but unfortunately, I got nothing at all.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2017 Opaque dark brown/black beer with slight yeast and with a slight brown head. Medium aroma with a lot of vanilla, chocolate, roasted malts and especially coffee. Great taste with all the mentioned flavours and a great palate as well.

Very dark brown pour with a lively but short-lived, thin tan head. Notes of caramel, chocolate, sweet coffee, smooth bourbon (more in the smell than anything else), light roast, light smoke. Medium to full body, medium carbonation, bitter-sweet finish. Very easy to drink and quite well-balanced.

9/20 it's a coffee stout, fine, drinkable, not spectacular and pales in comparison with imperial stouts, don't get too much of the bourbon

Niewielka piana jak na cappuccino. Barwa ciemno brązowa, nieprzejrzysta. Zapach intensywnie kawowy, kojarzący się z wysokogatunkową kawą z aeropresu, kakao i odrobina whisky. W smaku półsłodkie, kawowo czekoladowe z odrobiną wanilii i dębiny na finiszu. Palono bourbonowa goryczka, niskie wysycenie, zadziwiająco pełne, treściwe, choć nie gęste w odbiorze.
Fajne, generalnie podobne do podstawy, skojarzenia z kawą "z prądem" ;)

Bottle at home. Black with no head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, coffee, vanilla, hazlenut, roasted marshmallows. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Over medium body and soft fizz. Light but rich coffee stout, very nice.

@ISKTR 2017. BBE 040118. Mustanruskea väri, niukka reunavaahto. Tuoksu nahkaisa, raikas. Hernettä, metallisuutta, runko ok eikä vetisyydestä tietoakaan, miellyttävä perusstout, ei herätä mitään intohimoja.

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2017 330 ml bottle. BB 04/11/18. Courtesy of Hermod. At the ISKTR’17.
Dark brown color with a small tan head. Coffee, chili, cigar and roasted malt in the aroma. The flavor dark roasted malt, ash, coffee, vanilla and some bitterness. Where’s the Bourbon?
