330mL bottle BBE: 04.01.18. Served in a snifter @ 16ºC. Pours a dark, black body with a small, light brown crown. Very sparse head. Medium-high intensity nose of coffee (white), chocolate, vanilla. Strongly metallic (iron) when roused. Roasted nuts. High chocolatey sweetness to taste, with medium acidity and a light-medium roasted bitterness. Full-bodied and milky, with medium-low carbonation and whisky notes coming through in the finish. Like liquid chocolate. Surprisingly the whisky is detectable, despite the indirect influence on the beer.

Bottle, 6.5%. OK coffee aroma. Black colour, seems hazy. Small frothy light brown head. The flavour has some coffee, a mild sweetness, and some ashy notes. The latter are not problematic, though. Well-balanced. Flavourful without being boozy or sugary. Bamsen78 (5668) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - DEC 21, 2017
Bottle. Pours hazy very dark brown with airy dark tan head. Dark aroma of roast and coffee, with notes of yeast and touches of malt. Bitterish, roasty taste with notes of coffee and dark chocolate and touches of yeast and barrel. Lingering coffeelike and roasty aftertaste with notes of malt. Creamy mouthfeel. Very good. panda_brewmaster (236) - Bournemouth, Dorset, ENGLAND - DEC 7, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 7, 2017 Aroma of chocolate milk. Taste is sweet Greek-style frappe with some dark chocolate. Dark chocolate, coffee and malt in the after. Amazing how they've pulled out the aroma and taste. A bit too sweet for my taste though. davidezdonz (647) - Hong Kong, HONG KONG - OCT 27, 2017
A 330ml bottle with a best before date of 4th January 2018. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass. It poured black in colour with a less than one finger brown head that dissipated quickly and left only sparse to no lacing. Aromas of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and brown sugar. Tastes roasty malt and milk coffee with only hints of chocolate, vanilla and oak. Medium to light bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, this was ok, but given the name, even if its just the coffee beans aged in bourbon barrels, I was expecting some bourbon flavours, but unfortunately, I got nothing at all.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2017 Opaque dark brown/black beer with slight yeast and with a slight brown head. Medium aroma with a lot of vanilla, chocolate, roasted malts and especially coffee. Great taste with all the mentioned flavours and a great palate as well. mariuspoenari (3202) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - OCT 3, 2017
Very dark brown pour with a lively but short-lived, thin tan head. Notes of caramel, chocolate, sweet coffee, smooth bourbon (more in the smell than anything else), light roast, light smoke. Medium to full body, medium carbonation, bitter-sweet finish. Very easy to drink and quite well-balanced. rob19a (569) - - SEP 11, 2017
9/20 it's a coffee stout, fine, drinkable, not spectacular and pales in comparison with imperial stouts, don't get too much of the bourbon alteregoo (1876) - Kalisz, POLAND - SEP 5, 2017
Niewielka piana jak na cappuccino. Barwa ciemno brązowa, nieprzejrzysta. Zapach intensywnie kawowy, kojarzący się z wysokogatunkową kawą z aeropresu, kakao i odrobina whisky. W smaku półsłodkie, kawowo czekoladowe z odrobiną wanilii i dębiny na finiszu. Palono bourbonowa goryczka, niskie wysycenie, zadziwiająco pełne, treściwe, choć nie gęste w odbiorze.
Fajne, generalnie podobne do podstawy, skojarzenia z kawą "z prądem" ;)
