UPDATED: OCT 12, 2017 Source: Pub (Draught) Expectations: 'rich decadent breakfast stout'. Were expectations met: better. Findings: - Black with brown frothy crema-like head on it. - smooth, milky, chocolatey with an amazing espresso like palate and hints of caramel + vanilla. Very lovely! The only down-side was that it cost about £6.50 a pint ! I really enjoyed it but doubt I'll be in a rush to pay that much for a pint again. Would I drink it again: unlikely at that price. The price is a serious issue as I have tasted better for half the price !

Very dark brown pour. Aroma of smoke, chocolate and coffee. Taste follows. Thin. Disappointing :/

Cask at Ealing Park Tavern pours a nearly opaque black with some swirling khaki head. Nose has roasted grains, burnt toast, molasses, some smoke. Flavor has more of the sweet notes and less balance, molasses, caramel, licorice, cakey, brown sugar. Seems like the sweetness overwhelms the coffee notes. Finishes with a roasty character that probably saved some cloying texture.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2017 Opaque black beer with a slight brown head. The aroma is lovely, but could have been way stronger. Great taste with loads of chocolate and coffee. Creamy and rich palate.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2017 I'm drinking a bottle from Beer52.com. I'm getting velvety, rich, coffee and a long and moreish aftertaste of chocolate.

Bottle 330 ml from Beer52.com. Aromas of sweet caramel, coffee and notes of milk chocolate. Black body and large, long-lasting beige head. Taste is smooth and creamy with coffee, caramel and chocolate. Leaves a pleasant aftertaste of coffee.

javiercrasher (622) - Granada, SPAIN - SEP 13, 2017
Torrefacta y cafetosa. Algo de chocolate y ahumado. Con buen cuerpo. Rica y sabrosa. DRAFT.
