COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Now it’s with mixed feelings that we introduceHit The Ice. It’s a keg and cask pale ale with a hop bill to make your eyes water. It’s hazy, juicy and 100% quaffable and we can’t wait to drink it all – let it loose on the bars. But unfortunately there’s a bit of a catch. We’re very sad to be losing Sam Lee from our team in September. He’s been with us for over three years, and has become an essential part of everything we’ve done over that time. Unfortunately he’ll be leaving the industry for pastures new. He’ll be sorely missed and we all wish him the best. Hit The Ice is named after his most infamous Siren moment – a spectacular entry to the ice rink at a Christmas Party, which (spoilers) ended disastrously. Cheers Sam!

September 23, 2017 - at Earl of Essex - keg draught. Cloudy pale orange with a smallish fizzy white head. Catty tart fruity - tropical but not a lot of sweetness or alcohol; appealing. Taste follows - PA so lighter body than an IPA might have, less pungent cat more pineapple - slightly more alcohol than on the nose. Solid body and carbonation, medium pleasant fruity/floral aftertaste. Solid (I use that a lot)

Butelka 330ml. Metnawy złoty kolor. Piana szczątkowa, biała,zanika natychmiast. Aromat dojrzałego mango, brzoskwini, cytrusy i lekkie sosnowe igły w tle. W smaku więcej cytrusów z naciskiem na grejpfruty, owoce w tle. Bardzo pijalnie ale bez fajerwerków.

Tap at beerlovers bar. pours blonde, medium white head; Smell is rather dry, citrussy hops. Taste is similar. Sharp bitterness. Not too much aroma. Med body, med high carbo. Pretty forgetable beer, all and all.

kaserov (1300) - Oviedo, SPAIN - JAN 12, 2018

Scopey (17083) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 8, 2018
Bottle at home. It pours hazy golden with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, sweet mango, passion fruit, bit green, grassy, floral, biscuit and a touch of bubblegum. The taste is a bit more subdued, dry, crisp citrus, pithy, orange rind, passion fruit, floral, minerals, straw and a touch of tannin with a drying finish. Lighter end of medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Taste is a bit muted and doesn't live up to the aroma. Not bad nonetheless.
