Bottle at The Pig and Butcher. Very dark red more brown appearance. Burnt palate, raisen and dry drinkable and good for a red. Not usually a fan of red

La cerveza no sabe ni a red, ni a IPA, parece mas una cerveza de estilo porter Cimbasso (933) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 27, 2017
Pours a dark red/brown with an off-white head. Rich malt base with a taste of chocolate, raisins and rye bread. Surprising light grapefruit and pine flavour from the hops. An usual and pleasant beer. BeardedAvenger (969) - Addlestone, Surrey, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2017
Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Almost perfumed, floral aroma. Rye? Very dark for an Amber - in fact it’s not amber. A reddish dark brown. Bubbly beige head. Sweeter than I expected. Fruity. A light bitterness is more prominant into the finish. As are the cereals. Medium bodied. Kinda chalky which complements the soft carbonation. Long if muted finish. Good stuff. a great balance of sweetness and bitterness. beer-yum (1836) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - AUG 16, 2017
Restrained aroma in a coke colored pour. Hop forward balance with big malty body to match. Surprisingly light finish makes this a very tasty brew.

Black with little brown head. Aroma is cocoa slight butter some overripe peach some flowery chocolate notes. Taste is bitter cocoa sweet fruit. Creamy and balanced. Nice and deep. the_beergery (99) - - AUG 6, 2017
Poured from its 330 ml bottle into a tulip glass, the appearance is a deep reddish brown with a very generous head of white froth. While styled as a Red IPA, it would not be out of place to compare it to a red ale or a brown ale as well, such is a mix of the styles. The aromas are a mix of the IPA hops - fruit and florals and pine, and a strong malty presence, which comes across as dried fruit - burnt cherries and raisins, dried longans and lychees, and caramel. The tastes follow the nose closely, replicating the heady mix of maltiness and dried fruits. A really fascinating whirl of tastes not often encountered! surething_ii (591) - Šenkvice, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JUL 24, 2017
Bottle at Smokies.
Very dark amber prepares you for the theater.
Aroma tends to heavy notes and so does the taste. Relatively sweetness is well accompanied by the beerness. Nice loco_pap (11) - GREECE - JUN 22, 2017
Huge beer with intense malt favour (dark malts) and strong citrus hoppy finish.
Dark Red/Brownish color and aftertaste slight toasty, raisins and hoppy bitterness.
The full body of the malt hits you first and the strong hoppy character follows.
Not an easy beer! Very good

Aroma: 7/10 Apperance: 4/5 Taste:7/10 Palate:4/5 Overall: 15/20.
Aroma of caramel, fruits, wood, hay, chocolate and pine. Mahogany with a tan head. Medium sweet anm medium + bitter. Full body with a average to soft carbonation. Slightly dry and bitter finish. Overall a very plesant drink. Nice balance between the sweet tones of the special malts and the bitterness from the hops.
