Draught @ CBC 2014. Pours hazy dark brown with a offwhite head, some lacings. Aroma of malt, caramel, sweet dark fruit, plums, light tartness, wood, some alcohol. Flavor is rather sweet, malt, caramel, sweet dark fruit, plum, prunes, wood, alcohol. Full body, soft carbonation, warming alcoholic finish. Nice, smooth and warming. 020514

[5/2/14] Draught sample at Copenhagen Beer Celebration. 1st session. Hazy deep amber. Fruity aroma, a bit vinous, woody, with some caramel. Sweet flavor with liqueur, fruits and malt. Medium-bodied.

Tap at cbc14. Pours dark amber with thick off-white head. Aroma is really sweet, prunes, dried fruits. Taste is very complex with a lot of different notes of sweetness. Balanced though. Bitter grassy finish.

Draught @ CBC2014. Pours hazy amber with a thick creamy beige big head. Aroma is caramel, jenka, hops, coconut, raisins, oak and dried fruit. Taste is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium, texture is thick oily, carbonation is soft. Finishes dry, nutty with hops.

Bottled. Pours deep amber with a small, beige head. Aroma of slightly roasted malts, raisins, citrus notes, caramel, ripe fruits, vanilla and wood. Sweet flavor that ends up with bitter notes and alcohol too. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carb, An excellent Barley.

Taster on tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration, first session. Spotty lacing, unclear dark red body. Aroma of oak vanilla, dark malts and herbal hops. The flavour character brings a nice mix of dried fruits, brown malts and hints of bourbon. Vinous impression. Enjoying (02.05.2014).
