Not my sort of thing. Very winey and overly sour. Inexperienced with barley wine so difficult to judge. madmitch76 (25537) - , Essex, ENGLAND - AUG 28, 2017

Craft Tottenham Court Road. Siren TTO. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Doesn’t feel viscous like the Rum BA. Smooth malts bring mild sweetness. A light guezey hit before red wine and red berries, but the gueuziness comes back with a little acidity in tow. Light dry finish. Could have done without the sourness here. Okay.
Intense red wine, wood, tangy fruits, dark berries turning to dried berries, dark malts. Hazy brown, tiny, creamy, off-white head. Medium sweet. More warming alcohol, red wine, sweet oak, dark berry tart, some acidity coming up, soft carbonation, full bodied. Quite harsh aroma, intense palate. Keg at CBC, Covent Garden. drfabulous (8571) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JUL 12, 2017
