COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask conditioned and keg unpasteurised; Regular A 5.6% west coast IPA: golden, immensely hoppy and alive with grapefruit, peach and mango flavours. Soundwave carries her drinker to the west coast, to the golden shores of California where craft ale is nectar. She is the driest of Siren’s ales – full with flavour but subtle with bitterness. Her resinous finish will pull you off balance.

berkshirejohn (6524) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 4, 2013
UPDATED: JUL 8, 2015 Cask at the 19th Reading Beer and Cider Festival. A pretty good IPA, lots of rich mango and sweet grapefruit making it burst with zingy flavour, and some piney notes to finish. (8/4/7/4/14=3.7)

33cl bottle from Beer52.com. A rather hazy pale amber pour with a loose cream head; aroma of lime, mango and pineapple; big fruity taste; and a dry, satisfying, almost chalky finish. (7/3/7/4/15=3.6)

(Cask at King William IV, Leyton, London, 25 Apr 2013) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of grass, lemon and tropical fruit. Fruity, malty taste with citrus, tropical fruit, peaches and a generous grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Nice one.

wheresthepath (2342) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2013
[Cask at Reading Beer Festival] Gold with a moderate loose white head. Good fresh hop smell. Some kiwi and lime with pine head. A little on the sweet side and rather thin, but a decent beer nevertheless and better balanced than many IPAs.

jamestulloch (4150) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 17, 2013
Aroma: Tangerine, apricot and pine.

Appearance: Hazy golden body with no head whatsoever. Very light carbonation. No lacing.

Taste: Very light and juicy. Grapefruit and tangerine flavours. Light bitterness.

Palate: Thin body with a watery mouthfeel. Flat carbonation.

Overall: Nice fruity aroma and flavour, but the lack of head and watery texture let it down.

Scopey (14974) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 17, 2013
Cask at Craft Clerkenwell. It pours golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is pungent hop, earth, pine, lots of tropical fruit, mango, passion fruit, varnish and a faint touch of spice. The taste is assertively bitter, resinous, pine, grapefruit, pithy tangerine, light mango, varnish with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Great balance and flavour. Looking forward to batch 2 already!
