Aroma is dense, juicy ripe tropical fruits with a dry citrus zesty aura. Taste is thick and ripe mangos and grapefruit drenched in alcohol. Oily sweet and sticky fruit juice. The hops are passive-aggressive and just wait for their time to come, and when they do, they drag you down in a long, lingering bitterness. This is some heavy shit, but it's just the way I like my triple IPA's. Thick and aggressive, but still with a finesse to it and the alcohol never gets annoying. Maybe a tiny bit too sweet, and that's what holding this one back a bit. The cedar wood wasn't detected from my side that much, maybe that's what gave this one a slight dry touch to it? 330ml bottle (2017). Pours murky orange, thin dissipating white head. Aroma is tropical and citrus, oaky notes. Taste is similar, citrus, orange peel, grapefruit, mango, and definitely some oaky/woody notes, alcohol is noticeable and warming yet well integrated, a sipper for sure. Medium bodied, very fine carbonation, smooth, some burn. Dangerously drinkable for 11%. HenrikSoegaard (14620) - Randers, DENMARK - NOV 10, 2017

Bottle purchased from Honest Brew. A hazy golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Rich hoppy, tropical fruit, caramel, peach aroma. Taste is similar, rich, hoppy, sweet tropical fruit, peach and caramel. Barely noticed the alcohol in this one. Lovely Imperial IPA. elbernays (1680) - Dublin, IRELAND - NOV 1, 2017
Bottle from McHughs. Pours cloudy lemon with wispy white head. Bottle is 11% and doesn't mention To ol. Citrus, lemon, pine, some mild wood background. Flavour is bitter sweet citrus with grapefruit bitter finish. Sweet lemon drop finish. Alcohol is there but pretty well handled for style which can be overpowering at this strength. Overall a decent triple.

Bottle. Medium mango pale amber with a thin white foam subsiding slow. Scent is dense, wafting mango flavors. More standard IPA on the nose with properties of candied fruit. Wood. Taste is holy shit surprise very, very sharp alpha acid wine. Very dense. Hardly any hint of ethanol. Wood and resin. Some mango, yes. A cocktail of hops. Finish is lingering wisky properties. Excellent.
