A 4.5% pale ale with spicy, grassy aromas and a taste of grapefruit and apricot. Undercurrent is part pale, part oats and part caramel barley. Her swirls of bold, bready and nutty malt whirl into a concoction of spicy, citrus, floral hops. Mystery lurks in those cascade and palisade hops. Her silky, creamy body will pull you under.

Off white fluffy head left a good cover on a hazy, rich orange coloured body. Tropical fruit & citrus. Medium bodied, soft on the palate, prickly on the back. Sweet citrus & tropical fruits to the fore with a grapefruit & pithy long bitter aft. Another excellent beer from Siren.

Cask Half Pint at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell, London in March 2014 - Gold in colour with Red tinge. Very Clear. Fruity; grapefruit citrus and tropical fruits. Hoppy; grassy and spicy hops. Malty; grainy oaty malts, caramel. Moderately bitter fruity hoppy and quite dry throughout. Ends in lingering dry bitterness. Decent APA. (2014-03-14)

I had a disappointingly bland wheat ale before this, and the first sip of the Siren was like the flavour police kicking my door in! 330 ml bottle served cold in a half pint chalice. Golden amber body with a white head fading to a skim. Spicy citric aroma. assertive grapefruit flavour, tomato vines, malt loaf malts, apricots, greengage, cat pee . Medium body, astringent finish, bitter as sin.

330 ml bottle 20/10/2015 Pours copper, cloudy with normal off white head medium lasting and lacing. A bit fizzy not very dense.Aroma is mainly citrus (centennial?) notes, some hoppy dunkness, light caramel malts, hoppy stoned fruits, honey, kind of grassy. Very very good! Taste is mainly bitter, not a hint of sweetness, caramel maltiness, stoned fruits (simcoe?), mainly American hops. Aftertaste is similar, very very dry. Medium bodied, light carbonation.

Restrained citrus aroma in a golden pour. Big hop forward balance with citrus stone fruit body and sustained bitterfinish. Hugely impressive for the strength - has to be one of the best sessionable brews out there for sure.

Robe ambre surmonte dune belle mousse qui tient bien. Armes agrumes et floral. Got rsineux et crales. Le rsineux reste en bouche mais le got est malheureusement court, trop court. La carbonatation est fine et aggressive. Dommage.

From tap. Pours hazy amber with a rich white foam. Aroma is floral. Pipe tobacco and citrus. Taste is light... a bit too light. It takes a couple of sips before the actual taste really appears. Taste is bitter. Citrus, a bit caramelized, grass and a little salt. Its a nice beer, but the flavours are tough to distinguish from each other.
